Defendant able to provide valid excuse for his failure to appear
A 34-year-old St. Joseph resident charged with felony resisting arrest and misdemeanor driving while license suspended had what is likely a reasonable excuse for his failure to appear in court here on Aug. 13.

Absentee voters and other individuals visiting the Andrew County Courthouse during the week of Sept. 23 may have seen or heard workers running lots of new cable, drilling holes and opening boxes, just to mention a few of the things these men have been doing all week.
