Missouri No Longer Taxes Social Security Benefits
As Missourians begin filing their taxes for the year, the Missouri House is reminding citizens that a significant change in tax policy that will benefit many retirees has been implemented. As of January 1, 2024, Social Security benefits are fully exempt from state income tax, following the passage of Senate Bill 190 in 2023.
