Richard Craig June, 63, of Savannah, Missouri passed away on December 25th, 2024. Richard was born on July 17th, 1961, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Margaret Irene (Dunham) and William Arthur “Pete” June.
 Richard graduated from Savannah High School. He did custom hay and corn farming and caring for cattle. People would wait in long lines on hwy 71 for his sweet corn. Rick was a dedicated son and was responsible for caring for the cattle and farm and allowing his parents to travel to Texas for over 40 years. He loved dogs and cared for many throughout his life; many of his favorite puppies were Charlie, Buck, Penny, John, Deer, Tractor & Sadie.
 Survivors include sisters; Louise Jones, & Alice “Marie” Madinger, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and many many friends.
 Preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Ronald Allen George.
 Richard has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at Preferred Community Center 14375 Highway 71, Unit 2 Savannah Missouri 64485 (the old Vanderbilt’s building) on Saturday July 19, 2025, from 5-8 pm. BBQ and beverages will be served to celebrate Rick’s life so feel free to stop in and take in a few memories.
