KERRIE LEE LEMON

 Kerrie Lee Lemon, 68, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away on October 19, 2025, at Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph. She was born on January 11, 1957, to Richard and Rosemary (Schweizer) Smith.
 A lifelong resident of Andrew County, Kerrie graduated from Savannah High School in 1975. She married Paul Lemon on May 20, 1983. He preceded her in death in 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Donald Dillman and Gary Lemon.
 Kerrie was employed by Northwest Missouri Electric Cooperative for 18 years. As an avid antique collector, she delighted in filling her home with cherished finds. She was a talented artist with a natural gift for creating unique handmade treasures, with a special focus on needlepoint projects. Cooking and experimenting with new recipes brought her joy, as did her passion for music and movies. She was a devoted animal lover and opened her heart to many pets over the years. Kerrie was known for her thoughtful tradition of sending beautiful greeting cards to friends, relatives, and others whose paths had crossed hers through every walk of life.
 Survivors include her siblings, Jan Dillman, Susan (Tim) Patterson, Clare (Billie) Messick, and Tom (Angel) Smith; niece, Emily Messick; nephew, Raymond Smith; and several cousins.
 In keeping with Kerrie’s wishes, no services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to M’Shoogy’s Emergency Animal Rescue, 11519 State Route C, Savannah, MO 64485, or Friends of the Animal Shelter, 701 Lower Lake Road, St. Joseph, MO 64504. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home of Savannah is in charge of local arrangements.
