MDC hosting free webinar Sept. 9 on using prescribed fire for deer management
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the National Deer Association (NDA) invite landowners, land managers, and others interested in managing deer on their properties to join them online for a free webinar on using prescribed fire as a habitat-management tool for deer.

School District now has School Resource Officers
Savannah, MO - Starting this coming school year, the Andrew County Sheriff's Department will have a fully-trained team of six deputies assigned to the Savannah R-III and North Andrew R-IV schools. These deputies will assist in protecting, supporting and building strong relationships with school students.
