This Week in History

The Dungeons and Dragons Club started in October 2024 and was founded by junior, Sylas Ragsdale.Since then, the club has seen growth in members and they said they have had a blast. The club is welcoming to everyone, especially people who are into fantasy and eager to try something new.“You are at the mercy of a few dice,” sophomore member, Monroe Brushwood said.The game has no bounds; you can be whatever you want from a warlock, a wizard, and even a miniature cat.

The girls basketball team has been on a roll, going undefeated all throughout January and continuing that winning streak. The Lady Savages have had one of their most successful seasons so far, thanks to the girls’ dedication, hard work and the dedication of their coaching staff Mr.

With winter sports getting close to wrapping up their seasons, conference play is coming up.The boy’s basketball team is currently holding a record of 8-12. They have competed non-stop, just wrapping up three games in four days last week, while preparing for two games this week.With conference and districts coming up, the boys have some big goals to meet.“The season is going pretty good, a little rough at times but we are getting better and better.

Art Club will be hosting the annual Bob Ross Paint Night on Feb. 26.Bob Ross Paint Night is a super fun event, where students recreate iconic Bob Ross paintings and eat some food provided by Art Club.Art Club Sponsors Adriann Brammeier and Kayla Hinton organize the event, order Panda Express/Pizza Hut for dining and provide the materials for the paintings.

The Pony Express Museum is preparing for it’s Pony Express Family Day.People are invited to come dream, explore, and discover that history is fun. All of that fun is slated to be had on Feb.
