A summer tradition is returning soon with the Andrew County Fair running June 15-22. Events will again be located on the Courthouse Square and at the fairgrounds, located east of the Andrew County Jail.

A 911 call from the Savannah R-III Learning Center resulted in a fast response from the Savannah Fire Department and the Savannah Police Department, which safely and orderly evacuated students and staff from the Learning Center building. Ross Rutherford, 32, has no prior criminal record and at the time of his arrest back in late January, was employed and living at home, argued his attorney, Mark Wissehr, during a May 12 bond hearing.
