Shooting for first place

The Savannah trapshooting team just finished up Districts.Two teams had great success, and will be advancing to State.Junior Codi Barsch was the Top Lady Shooter at Districts. Barsch and junior, Janssen Hughes both shot 98/100.The team consisting of senior, Jackson Sigrist; juniors Nate Boyer, Hughes and Cort Johnson; and sophomore, Jordan Lawrence placed first.

Savannah continues winning; not satisfied

After last week’s 9-5 loss to Chillicothe, the Savannah Savages rattled off three-straight wins. The Savages, now 6-5, will finish this week with Maryville and then Oak Grove at home on Thursday.While the Savages have won five of six games, head coach Erich Bodenhausen said he wants to see better from his players.“We’ve won four of five, but really haven't played to our potential,” said Bodenhausen.
