Mother, Daughters Recall Construction of Adkins Addition
SAVANNAH - Recently, Beverly Adkins and her two daughters, Susan Zalenski and Kathy Yost, gathered to tell the story of how 25 acres and one farmhouse developed into one of Savannah’s first housing additions. It took several decades of hard work plus family and neighborhood support for Merle Adkins, Beverly’s father-in-law, to accomplish his dream.
